In the late 1970s, ARO transformed the 240 into what was later called the 304. The ARO 304 was produced in 6 examples between 1977 and 1988, 4 identical closed cars, one with a shibidah and one convertible. In the late 1980s, other improved ARO models were produced. They are called ARO 306 and 4 copies were made.
